Ticket Purchasing Policies
At Live Nation Tickets, our goal is to make your ticket purchasing experience as simple and convenient as possible.
We ask that you take a moment to review our ticket purchasing policies.
What is Live Nation Tickets?
The Live Nation Tickets WAP and On-Line Site is a mobile ticketing platform through which our clients choose to sell THEIR tickets.
Who are our Clients?
Live Nation Ticket's clients include, among others, event venues, artists, sporting teams, and promoters. Each client has its own individual policy regarding the sale of its tickets through Live Nation Tickets. Live Nation Tickets will always act in accordance with these policies.
Methods of Payment
Live Nation Tickets accepts the following methods of payment for ticket purchases: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Debit via online banking. We will update this policy as other methods of payment become available.
Refund Policy for Cancelled or Postponed Events
All ticketed events are to be held irrespective of weather conditions. Sometimes weather or other outside considerations make the performance impossible to complete. In such instances, the event venue or the event promoter are charged with making the final determination of cancellation and refund availability. Live Nation Tickets will issue refunds ONLY if an event is cancelled in its entirety and not rescheduled. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, refunds will automatically be applied to the credit card used by the customer at the time of purchase. In such instances, refunds will generally appear on your next credit card statement depending upon your credit card's billing cycle. Refunds for cancelled performances include the ticket price and the per ticket convenience charge(s) but do not include the per order handling charge and any fees collected for delivery.
Opening acts or guests may sometimes tour with headlining performers. Live Nation Tickets is not always made aware of opening acts or the length of their performances. These opening acts are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. No refund will be given if an opening act is changed or canceled.
Pricing, Availability and Purchase Confirmation
The Live Nation Tickets software will always select the best possible seat location, as determined solely by our clients, available at the time you make your selection. Each event venue is charged with deciding in which order seats in such venue will be sold. When you present your mobile ticket at the gate for scanning you will be provided with a specific seating paper ticket that will correspond with the seat locations on your mobile ticket. For “general admission” events, you will be admitted to the venue without the need for ticket substitution as general admission venues do not require specific seat assignments. Live Nation Tickets’ WAP and On-Line Site accesses the same ticketing system and inventory via the Internet and tickets for popular events with a high demand may sell more quickly than tickets for less popular events. At times, additional tickets may become available to an event while tickets for that event are already on sale. In these instances, where asked to do so by its clients, Live Nation Tickets will make these additional tickets available to you; however Live Nation Tickets does not control this inventory or its availability.
If you do not receive (i) an MMS message containing your wireless ticket, and (ii) a confirmation number for your ticket order (in the form of a confirmation page SMS) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility as the customer to confirm with your wireless carrier’s customer service department whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. Live Nation Tickets will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you fail to receive the wireless tickets and/or an order confirmation and do not contact your wireless carrier to resolve the issue.
By clicking the "Purchase" button, you affirmatively agree to become a member of Live Nation Ticketing and abide by Live Nation Ticket's policies as outlined in this document including those specifically noted in sections titled Refunds and Exchanges; Refund Policy for Cancelled or Postponed Events and Delivery of Tickets.
Convenience Charges
Live Nation Tickets assesses a service charge on each ticket purchased for each event.
Refunds and Exchanges
Before you actually purchase your ticket through Live Nation Tickets, the Live Nation Tickets WAP and On-Line Site software will give you the opportunity to review the number of tickets, event and performance date you have chosen. Once you make your final selection and purchase your ticket(s), Live Nation Tickets will not make exchanges or refunds unless so directed by a venue or promoter canceling an event as discussed above in Refund Policy for Cancelled or Postponed Events.
Live Nation Tickets does not issue refunds for tickets claimed to be not delivered/not received; or for tickets reported lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed. In certain cases, if approved by your wireless carrier, a mobile ticket may be resent to your mobile device, provided that your mobile phone number has not changed and you have not changed wireless carriers.
Live Nation Tickets (when issuing a mobile ticket that appears as a unique MMS in your inbox on your mobile device) may allow the consumer to forward such tickets for THE CONSUMER'S USE ONLY. The unique bar code on all tickets will allow access by ONLY ONE ticket, the first ticket, to enter the event.
The user agrees not to sell, reproduce for sale, alter, or counterfeit the ticket for any reason, and user assumes all financial and criminal liability resulting from the same, including the copying of user's unique, bar-coded ticket.
If the amount you pay for a ticket is obviously or grossly incorrect, regardless of whether due to an error in a price posted on Live Nation Tickets WAP Site or otherwise communicated to you, and regardless of whether because of a transactional malfunction of Live Nation Tickets WAP Site, then Live Nation Tickets will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid.
Delivery of Tickets
Live Nation Tickets through the WAP and On-Line Site will be delivered in the form of a unique MMS message to the users’ mobile device. A back-up SMS ticket with a barcode number will be sent to the user’s mobile device. Please note that one MMS wireless ticket may represent multiple admissions to an event, depending on the number of tickets you have purchased. If you lose or delete your mobile ticket, users may text “repeat” to 4849 and the MMS message will be recent to the user’s mobile device.
Ticket Limits
From time to time the artist, venue, promoter or your wireless carrier may limit the number of tickets available per purchaser per event. This ticket limit is identified on the unique event page. Please adhere to published ticket limits. Orders exceeding the ticket limit may be canceled without notice. This includes duplicate orders having the same name, billing address, credit card or other unique identifiers (mobile numbers). Live Nation Tickets shall have sole discretion regarding the cancellation of such orders.
Third Party Resellers
The resale, or attempted resale, of a ticket for a price in excess of the original purchase price is not permitted. Live Nation Tickets reserves the right to cancel, without notice or compensation, any order or portion of any order when Live Nation Tickets determines, in its sole discretion that an attempt has been made to resell tickets in violation of this policy. In addition, Live Nation Tickets reserves the right to restrict or deny ticket purchasing privileges to anyone that Live Nation Tickets determines to be, or have been, in violation of this policy. Because Live Nation Tickets does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any third party reseller (such as brokers or individuals), Live Nation Tickets recommends that you purchase tickets directly through Live Nation Tickets to ensure ticket authenticity.
Terms of Use
By using Live Nation Ticket's WAP and On-Line Site you signify your agreement to these Terms of Use. Live Nation Tickets has the right to change or modify in any way such policies and the following terms at its sole discretion.
• Live Nation Tickets and its WAP and On-Line Site(s) are wholly owned by Live Nation Tickets LLC.
• The software used to power this WAP and On-Line Site and any files or images incorporated herein are the property of Live Nation Tickets, LLC and may not be recorded, redistributed, sold, decompiled, or reverse engineered.
• No content from any of Live Nation Ticket's WAP and On-Line Site(s) may be copied, transmitted, or reproduced in any manner without written consent from Live Nation Tickets, LLC.
• Any transmission, copy, reproduction, or alteration of the material or content on Live Nation Tickets' WAP and On-Line Site(s) is a violation of Live Nation Tickets' copyrights.
• All trademarks or trade names are the sole property of Live Nation Tickets unless otherwise stated.
• The purchaser agrees that any reproduction of a purchased ticket will be used solely for the ticket purchaser. No reproduction or alteration of the purchased ticket will be sold to a third party. Purchaser is bound by the laws of the Province of Ontario and Live Nation Tickets reserves the right to pursue, within the bounds of the law, all penalties allowable for anyone counterfeiting, reproducing for sale, or altering tickets for un-paid entry into an event.
• All materials and content on the Live Nation Tickets WAP and On-Line Site(s) are provided "as is" and there are no warranties, expressed or implied.
• Neither Live Nation Tickets, LLC nor your wireless carrier guarantee in any way that service will be uninterrupted or free of error. Live Nation Tickets will strive to ensure that content is error free, but acknowledges that mistakes may be made and does not assume any liability for errors on its WAP and On-Line Site.
• The user of this WAP and On-Line Site agrees that any costs related to any damage to user's equipment from any virus or other harmful component is to be borne by the user and that Live Nation Tickets, LLC will be held blameless and shall have no financial responsibility therefore.
• These Terms and this WAP and On-Line Site shall be governed by and in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.

PRIVACY POLICY
Live Nation Tickets believes that your right to privacy is very important. We have created this privacy statement set forth below in order to demonstrate our continued commitment to your privacy and to protecting information you submit. Please read the full Live Nation Tickets privacy policy available at www.LiveNation.com/company/getPrivacy. This privacy policy only applies to transactions made, and data gathered, on the Live Nation Tickets WAP and On-Line Site, and does not apply to any other transactions, information, WAP and On-Line Site or Internet, telephone or offline point of contact between Live Nation Tickets and you or other consumers. Please review this privacy policy periodically as we may update it from time to time. Each time you visit the WAP and On-Line Site or provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time. You agree that by using the WAP and On-Line Site you are expressly and affirmatively consenting to our use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and consenting to receive emails, as described below in this privacy policy. Live Nation Tickets will not be responsible or otherwise liable for any use or disclosure of your contact information, or financial information, by a third party to whom Live Nation Tickets is allowed to disclose your contact information under the Privacy Policy.
Information You Give Live Nation Tickets
Live Nation Tickets' forms require you to give us contact information and unique identifiers (Mobile Custom Telephone Number (“CTN”). Our purchase forms require you to provide us with certain financial information (credit card numbers). Please note that nowhere on the WAP and On-Line Site do we knowingly collect contact information or financial information from children under the age of 13. We may share your contact information, unique identifiers and information concerning the tickets you have purchased with your wireless carrier. We may also share anonymous, aggregated (grouped) demographic information with advertisers and other third parties so that they can tailor their advertisements and communications to the appropriate audience. Any time that we are allowed under this privacy policy to share your contact information or financial information; we may also share your demographic information.
Live Nation Tickets cannot prohibit minors from visiting this site, and must rely on parents, guardians and those responsible for supervising children under 13 to decide which materials are appropriate for such children to view and/or purchase. Pursuant to 47 U.S.C. Section 230(d) as amended, Live Nation Tickets hereby notifies you that parental control protections (such as computer hardware, software, or filtering services) are commercially available that may assist you in limiting access to material that is harmful to minors. Information identifying current providers of such protections is available at the Get Net Wise (www.getnetwise.org) and On Guard Online (www.onguardonline.gov) websites, two online resources for families aimed to deliver information and tools helpful to guiding children to a safe internet experience.
Cookies
Like other WAP and On-Line Sites, Live Nation Tickets’ WAP and On-Line Site uses cookies to keep track of your purchases and for various other purposes relating to your transactions on our WAP and On-Line Site. On the internet, others may place or read cookies on your browser as well.
Contact Information
Live Nation Tickets may use your contact information to contact you regarding any aspect of your financial transaction. Your contact information is provided to your wireless carrier, the venues, promoters, artists, teams, and affiliates of events for which you purchase tickets. The purpose of releasing your name and mobile number to a promoter or venue is to enable you to receive special offers on upcoming concerts or to be able to provide you with a unique way of finding out information about upcoming events. Live Nation Tickets may use your information in order to send you information and offers from our company and promotional material from some of our clients. We will strive to make sure this information is of value to you.
How Live Nation Tickets Uses Financial Information
Any financial information you give to Live Nation Tickets will be used only in the processing and delivery of tickets to you. Your information will be used to verify the transaction and receive the money directly from your credit card company. Any other information will be used by the WAP and On-Line Site to deliver the tickets to you. Some financial information may be used by Live Nation Tickets to identify you as the customer at the venue (e.g. your last four credit card numbers used to confirm that you are the person who purchased the ticket). We may provide your financial information to event providers, primarily for facilitating dispute resolution and customer service at the event venue on the date of the event, and may provide your financial information to those merchants who are providing you with the goods, services or reservations you purchase or order through the WAP and On-Line Site. We may disclose specific financial information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with law, to cooperate with or seek assistance from law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of Live Nation Tickets or other visitors to the WAP and On-Line Site or users of services or products provided by Live Nation Tickets. Also, your financial information may be passed on to a third party in the event of a transfer of ownership or assets, or a bankruptcy, of Live Nation Tickets. Live Nation Tickets will not be responsible or otherwise liable for any use or disclosure of your financial information by a third party to whom Live Nation Tickets is allowed to disclose your financial information under this privacy policy.
Requesting Live Nation Tickets Not To Release Your Information
If you do not want Live Nation Tickets to release any of your information to third parties (other than your wireless carrier), you may request for us to not release your information by sending us a written request by regular mail or e-mail. In the written request you must provide information identifying yourself such as your name and mobile phone number. The written request must also state in writing, "I do not wish to have Live Nation Tickets release any of my personal information to third parties." Our secure socket layer software (SSL) is the best software available today for secure electronic commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your information, including credit card number and name, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Ticket Usage Conditions
The ticket you purchase through Live Nation Tickets is a revocable license. The ticket holder is subject to inspection upon entrance to the ticketed venue, and should such holder refuse to permit such inspection, holder's money shall be refunded. Any violation of law while attending the ticketed event may result in holder being removed from the venue without refund of any portion of the ticket price or charges. The holder of the ticket voluntarily assumes all risks of property loss and personal injury arising during its use whether prior to, during, or after the event and agrees that Live Nation Tickets, your wireless carrier, the venue, its management and affiliates of the event are not liable under any theory whatsoever. The ticket is non-transferable. Any transfer, attempted transfer, resale, counterfeit, or unauthorized copy is grounds for seizure from and/or cancellation without refund. Tickets obtained from an unauthorized source may be stolen, copied illegally, counterfeit or lost and if so, may be seized and cancelled without compensation. There are no refunds or exchanges. Event dates, times and locations are subject to change. Live Nation Tickets reserves the right to change this information without notification.
